Some people are put off from trying yoga because they think it’s expensive―that you have to invest in flashy yoga pants, leggings, sports bras, tank tops, yoga gloves and socks, a yoga mat, a bag for your gear…the list goes on. It’s true that, while all these things may be nice to have, they can get pricey. And think about it. People were doing yoga for thousands of years before anyone ever thought of marketing all these special items designated for yoga, and it’s a myth to think you need them. Those things exist in your awareness, but only on the external plane. The intent of yoga is to take you to a deeper level of awareness.
